Dairy Herdsperson

Free stall operations milking between 80-140 cows in New Liskard, Ontario are seeking full-time herdspersond. The ideal candidates must enjoy working with dairy cattle.   One operation is seeking a couple to fill their herdsperson role.

Responsibilities

• Milking
• Calf feeding and caring
• Heat detection 
• Basic milking and barn equipment maintenance

Skills

• Attention to detail
• Animal husbandry a must
• Able to follow instructions and work independently

Compensation

• 42-50 hours per week
• Regular time off
• $12-$15 per hour (depending on experience)
